#2. Change out your toothbrush. 

Bacteria can build up on your toothbrush that can lead to discoloration. Even if the bristles on your toothbrush are still perfectly intact, it’s important to replace your toothbrush (or your toothbrush head if you have an electric toothbrush) every few months.

#3. Invest in a tongue scraper.

Many people think that brushing the tongue is simply about bad breath, but bacteria can accumulate on the tongue that can also lead to discoloration. With your toothbrush, or preferably a tongue scraper, you should gently clean your tongue every day.
